You all know I've been a part of the Etsy Alberta Street Team for a while now. I absolutely love this team and there is so much amazing talent there. I also recently joined another team on Etsy, the Stay At Home Moms of Etsy. I can't help but browse all the amazing shops on this team so I thought I'd share some of my findings with you!
I made another Baby Binky Bunny last week. This one for my niece Abigail for Christmas. I used coordinating fabric in the ears to the bunny I made for Ara so that when they get older they will have matching bunnies. I haven't made blankies for the bunnies yet but I think I'll save that for their first birthdays. I don't think either of them will be wrapping their babies till then anyway! I was in a bit of a rush to get this bunny done so of course things went wrong but I got it all sorted in the end and she turned out pretty good. Abigail is only 4 months old and gave her bunny a huge grin when she opened her so I hope Ara has a good reaction to hers at Christmas too.
We've all been hit with a nasty stomach flu bug here so I'm officially behind in my Christmas presents now, but what would a handmade Christmas be if I weren't?
I got a new camera a week or two ago! A got the Canon Rebel X1i and so far I LOVE it. I'm still figuring it all out of course and I am still getting a lot of no good pics along with the pretty good ones but I get it more and more figured out each time I use it. I haven't been listing much new in my shop lately after the madness that was the month of November and first week of December so I haven't taken and product pictures with it but I'm looking forward to it!
Here are some shots of the kids that I've taken lately.
We had a little gift exchange with my Etsy Alberta Team and I got something fantastic in the mail! These beautiful upcycled and hand screen printed by Modern Repeat I absolutely love them and can't wait for a chance to use them for a nice dinner! Seriously though, go check out the rest of her shop, she's got some beautiful things in there.
